The Holocaust

Hitler has become the leader of Germany. He believes in the anti-Jew movement and wants to start over with the entire population with people that he feels are "suited". Rumors have been circulating that Hitler is going to send Jews to concentration camps, but nobody believes it until the first people are taken away. Wagons are separated for women, men, and children. The adults are the first ones to be taken to Auschwitz, one of the most brutal concentration camps. The ones that are not sent to Auschwitz, are sent to other camps where they work for long hours and are sent to other camps in marches. These marches are called death marches because they have to walk for weeks and sometimes months in the middle of winter, and many young girls die because they walk with bare feet and barely any clothing.
